Co-operative Inquiry

Since the gathering the world's troubles have become more explicit. Over this time  the small  group that planned the gathering has continued to meet intermittently and reflect on possible ways forward.

We have been wondering whether a Cooperative Inquiry might be helpful.  In a Cooperative Inquiry 8-15 people  meet repeatedly to explore an issue  together via repeated cycles of reflection, testing and creation in order to generate new insights and responses to some pressing issue.

We have been wondering about an Inquiry that focused on

What  promptings of love and truth about  the Earth do we find  in our hearts in these times?  Where do these lead us? And how  might Quakerism be called to renew itself in the light of these promptings?

Within this broad frame participants are free to look at any  aspects that they are led to.

Cooperative inquiries typically involve several cycles of reflection and experimentation with the initial one being in person but most taking place every 2-3 weeks via Zoom.

Cooperative Inquiries  are co-led and co-facilitated by participants who take responsibility for their own learning and reflection.

If you are interested in taking part in either inquiry then email us at info@livingwitness.org.uk  and we will send you further material that explains the process, and begins a collective dialogue to discern whether an inquiry might be possible and who might want to participate.
